Safe Space Tutoring
Safe Space Tutoring is a unique program that blends traditional literacy tutoring with a holistic approach to personal development. By engaging with readings and activities that tackle relevant issues such as LGBTQ+ experiences, anxiety, depression, and other areas of self-exploration, students not only enhance their reading comprehension and critical thinking skills but also develop valuable life skills. Safe Space Tutoring creates a supportive and inclusive environment where students can safely explore their identities, emotions, and challenges, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment while building a strong foundation for academic success and personal well-being.
Home School Academy
Homeschool Academy is a pioneering virtual learning program that unites homeschool and traditional education students in collaborative, two-hour workshops on Zoom. Capped at 10 students, these sessions foster social and life skills development through engaging, hands-on project-based learning. By working together to develop and implement solutions to real-world problems, students from diverse educational backgrounds gain valuable experience in teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving, while building friendships, expanding their perspectives and developing academic skills that will help them to succeed in school and beyond!
VR Academy (COMING 2025)
Launching in the summer of 2025, VR Academy revolutionizes tutoring by providing a fully immersive experience for students. Utilizing state-of-the-art virtual reality headsets, students and tutors will gather in virtual classrooms to explore academic concepts in unprecedented ways. But VR Academy goes beyond traditional learning by offering virtual field trips to breathtaking locations like the Appalachian Trail or Machu Picchu, all from the comfort of home. This innovative program transcends 21st-century skills, preparing students for the future through a truly futuristic learning approach.
