I believe in the power of innovation and hope to influence education for the better! My goal is to make every student feel welcomed, important, and inspired! Beyond teaching, I have two of the best pups, enjoy music, and LOVE traveling!

I've had the pleasure of teaching English to grades 5-12 over the last five years. My experiences is teaching Multilingual Learners in urban settings. I believe that students should be exposed to different cultures and perspectives through literature, and that teaching them to express themselves gives them power. You can find me reading or learning something new in my spare time! I also like gardening, crocheting gifts, baking, and listening to music!

I am currently in my ninth year of teaching English. I have had the privilege of teaching middle and high school with students with a variety of learners variables. I have a degree in secondary education with a concentration in English with a Middle Level Education endorsement. I obtained my Masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and I am currently working to become a National Board Certified Teacher. I think the golden nugget of education is humanity. I believe humanity is everything.
